Easter Bingo - Wednesday 27th March

The Friends of Montgomery would like to invite you to Easter Bingo on Wednesday 27th March. A huge range of Easter treats and eggs to be won! Arrive at 6.00pm for ‘eyes down’ at 6.30pm. This is always a very popular and successful evening. Refreshments also available.

HELLO & WELCOME!!
We are fortunate at our school to have a Parent Teacher Association (otherwise known as Friends of Montgomery School/FOM`s) that is and has been an integral part of the school community for many years. In its time the FOM`s has raised thousands of pounds, which has been spent on equipment and resources to enhance our children’s education experience and the school’s facilities.
Our PTA is about much more than simply fundraising. It exists to provide closer links between home and school and it is an excellent way to bring staff, parents and friends together socially in support of the school, working towards a common goal. It is fun too – just ask any of the Committee members or PTA helpers. Obviously, as in any organisation, we have experienced some challenges but with the continued support of parents and staff, our PTA has always succeeded in its efforts.
All parents and members of the school community are encouraged to get involved, even if they only have a small amount of time available. All families are automatically members of the `Friends of Montgomery School` when their child joins our school.

Summer Fair- Friday 29th June 2012

Come along to our wonderful summer fair on Friday 29th June from 5.30pm.
Free entry to stalls from 5.30 until 7.00pm
Ceilidh band starts at 7.30pm. Ticket entry £5 for Adults, £1 for children including food.
Live Band – Mrs Midnights.

Year 1/2 Maths workshop

Today parents and children from year 1/2 had a fantastic time taking part in a Maths workshop!

Welcome to the Friends of Montgomery Parent Partnership

The Association of Friend of Montgomery School is a group of community minded parents and staff whose overall mission is to raise funds to enhance our childrens learning experiences and to promote the school profile by staging events open to the whole of the community.
Funds raised by FoMS in mostly recently have funded the hire of the Space Dome, Actor Steve Manning to reenact the `Eygtian Enigma` featuring Howard Carter, the Christmas Pantomine performance. Plus we`ve subsidised swimming lessons and school trips.
Our popular Easter Bingo will take place on the last day of term, Friday 30th March 2012 at 6pm, with eyes down for 6.30pm.
We are also currently making plans regards our `official school opening`, (date yet to be announced), plus the summer fete. WATCH THIS SPACE!!
