EYFS - Weather Art

As part of our ongoing weather focus, today we created weather inspired art. We listened to John William’s ‘Raiders of Ark’ (yes from from the film!) and we thought it sounded like a  storm. We listened carefully to learn how to represent the music on paper with felt tip and roller ball paints. The music changed so much it was hard to keep up sometimes with our drawing. Our end results showed swirling winds, booming thunder and warming sunshine.

We hung our art on our topic tree so we could compare it with our friend’s and talk about what we liked about the different pictures.
