Year 3/4 Design and Technology

For the past several weeks the children have been investigating all aspects of of their topic, ‘Bridges’. They have researched famous bridges, found out about their key structural elements and built structures using various materials to enhance their understanding of how bridges are built and how they function. The culmination of all their hard work came last week as the children used and applied all of their knowledge as they designed and built bridges of their own. Our pupils worked in teams to produce the outstanding bridges you see below.
