We have been collecting information about each of the Rainforest layers and then creating a video on puppet pals.

Today, we introduced our Rainforests topic by watching a fantastic DVD. We hope it gave the children the opportunity to start thinking about what they would like to find out about Rainforests.
Their questions will be noted down and attached to a display on Wednesday.
Hopefully all questions will be answered as we progress through the topic.

We finished our plants topic today by reviewing what we have learnt.
Ask your child- What are the different parts of a plant? What are the jobs of these plant parts? What do plants need to grow? What happens if a plant has too much water or heat? How do plants make their food? What is pollination? How are seeds spread? (some of the answers are below).
