During our creative sessions we have continued to look at sculpture.
This week we have been exploring different ways of making sculptures based upon the work of different artists. Eventually we will produce our own metal sculpture of an olympic athlete.
(see previous blog for sculpture inspired by Erwin Wurm)
On Wednesday we created olympic athlete sculptures using random objects and lego (Nathan Sawaya inspired).
Today, some of us made paper and card sculptures, whilst others started learning how to bend and shape the metal for our final designs.

In Art we have begun to look at sculpture. We started by finding out what sculpture was and discussing some famous artists and their pieces.
We then moved onto to creating our own abstract sculptures based upon the work of Erwin Wurm.
